Teething

Kimberly has been teething so bad lately. She just screams till I give her some medicine. I've heard a carrot is good for them to chew on. She wasn't quite sure what to think...

Sydney's First Haircut

Sydney was so excited to get a "hairstyle ", as she calls it. This is her first trim. I just wanted the ends trimmed. i would have liked to take two inches off, but Jason would have killed me.The excitement was gone on the day of the trim. The whole way there she kept telling me that I would have a turn and she didn't want one.
When I finally unwrapped her off or me, she got to sit on a special booster.
Them she got the special fish cape...still not happy.
I saved the tiny bit of hair that came off. That was the most $9 I ever spent!
I still couldn't get smile out of her!

Pumpkin Patch

It was so much fun taking two girls to the pumpkin patch. It was a gorgeous day. This is the earliest we've ever gone. There were so many to choose from. "This one was too heavy", Sydney said. She kept wanting to get a little one for Kimberly, but they were all big. When we were leaving, we learned that we could have crossed the street for some smaller ones. Oh well! There is always next year!

Pumpkin Patch Petting Farm

Sydney didn't want to touch the animals, but we told her no pumpkin if she didn't. We're so mean! Eventually she touched the baby kangaroo.

Sydney's Stung

We were downstairs watching TV and Sydney started crying for what seemed like no reason. Jason picked her up and put her on his lap. he noticed a paper wasp in her skirt. He brushed it off and told me he thought she was stung. I checked and sure enough, she was. I took her upstairs and threw some honey and a band aid on. Then Jason killed the wasp and flushed it down the toilet with Sydney. She thought that was pretty neat! She kept saying daddy flushed the "buzzy bee"down the toilet and it's all gone! I never thought one of our kids would be stung in our house. I guess they want to come in where it's warm, with the season changing and cooling off. I have to say that Sydney was a real trooper!

The honey instantly cooled the sting!
We both walked away from the table for a minute and Sydney found the ice cream. Everything was all better after that!

Growing up!

Sydney has graduated from the booster seat and soon the rail on her bed! She had a little fall off the chair, but she let me know that she's big and is okay!
