First run of year

Jason ran his first race of the year. It was a family fun easter 5K in Lehi. There weren't many people which was nice. He had to work that morning so it was a challenge for him to get done, but we made it. It was cold when we left the house to pick him up, but the sun warmed it up quite a bit by the time we got up there.




He's been faithfully running on the treadmill all winter to train for his first 1/2 marathon on May 1st. He improved his best time from last year by a few minutes. He finished 5th overall/mens. He did it in 21 mins. 25.7 sec. We're so proud of him. It's too bad that they only reward the top 3...

Silly!!!

We got a water softener/purifer and a reverse osmosis the other day. Our water is so clean now and the best water to drink, maybe even better than Enumclaw well water! They had to dump out Sydney's Mr. Potato Head toys out of this cleaner. I had it sitting in the tub to dry and Sydney insisted on taking a bath in it! Gotta love the way she wants to be a baby again!

Our Pooh Bear

Sydney loves peanut butter on celery. She kept just licking the pb of the other day and asking for more. I walked a way for a minute and she helped her little self!!!

Baby Quilt

I went down to my in-laws a few weeks ago to tie the new baby's quilt. I had so much fun. Stephanie babysat Sydney while my my mother in-law and I went down to grandma's to tie. A few days ago I finally got around to binding it. I've never bound a quilt this way before. It looks so professional now. Thanks Heather!

3 weeks

I went to the Dr. today. My cervix is the same, but the baby has dropped. Duh! I can feel that! I've been feeling good, just a few bouts with morning sickness here and there. No biggie. Same thing happened with Sydney the last two weeks of pregnancy. I lost a 1/2 lb. and my blood pressure was only 110/70, which is good for me. It has been 130/78 or so. We are getting excited. Sydney has been a real joy lately. Tuesday night she was up till almost 12:30, threw a tantrum for two hours. She has a new trick of turning around and walking away when I tell her something. That's really fun. She doesn't quite grasp what is going on around her.

I lost my mucus plug around 5 tonight! This baby is coming too fast!!!

How much bigger can I get?!!

I went to the doctor's Friday. I got to have my first check and I dilated almost to a 2. Yah! Only 3 1/2 weeks left! Now if I could stop my famous ending morning sickness!

Baby Goats

We got to go and see some baby goats Thursday at a friend's house. Sydney had so much fun! Being there made me think of good old Enumclaw! Loved it!

Sydney's First Dentist Visit

Yesterday Sydney went for her first happy check at the dentist. She didn't want to go back in the exam room. She didn't want to sit on the chair. I eventually got her on my lap. She didn't want to talk or open her mouth. She was really good though. She did tell him she was two years old. After she was off the chair, she wouldn't stop talking to Melissa (dental assistant). She got a cute little certificate and coupon for a free kid's meal at Del Taco. She got a new Pooh toothbrush. She also got a token to buy a bouncy ball in the waiting room. My dentist is so good with kids and I'm grateful. We'll see how it goes in six months!
I had this great plan that I would grow my hair out this whole pregnancy and continue till I could donate for locks of love again. Failed! I couldn't take it and cut off four inches or so yesterday. I love it though! I feel put together again. When it gets too long, I never know what to do with it.
