Stroller

Finally it has warmed up. Almost all the snow is melted. We've been taking Sydney for walks around the neighborhood. She really enjoys it! So much, that we went on three walks today. I can't wait for spring! I realize how out of shape I am now. It's only been four months since I worked.

First Time With Babysitter

Jason and I were able to attend the temple WEdnesday. It was the first time back since Sydney was born. It was so wonderful. Marlene and Debbie watched Sydney for us. I thought I'd worry and not focus in the the temple, but I didn't. I think the only reason I didn't worry was because of who tended her. We sure are grateful. When I walked in the door to pick her up, Marlene said, "You're back already???". It was really cute!

Mom's Birthday

It was Jason's mom's birthday Monday. We invited her up for dinner Sunday. I made Ranch Chicken, Baked Potatoes, Green Beans and Rolls. Then we had carrot cake and ice cream. It was nice to give her a break and serve her.

Twins

Jason loves Minnesota sports' teams. Here's our latest picture of the twins...

So Cute!

Sydney looked so cute in her Sunday dress that I had to share.....

Mountain Dew Girl

Jason thought it would be cute to let Sydney have his empty Mountain Dew can. I wanted to kill him. She really had a hold of it! Ever since then, she's been in love with green.

First Fever

I took Sydney to the Health Dept. for her 4 month shots on Tuesday. I gave her some Motrin before we left to help her. She was so good. She was all smiles minutes after the shots. We ran some errands, (she slept quite a bit then) and went home. I gave her another dose of Motrin and she spit it all out. She did good with Motrin for her 2 month shots, but I guess she doesn't like it anymore. Actually for her 2 mothers, she had no reaction to them. I didn't realize how nice that was till now... She was very clingy to me all day Tuesday. I put her down for the night. The next morning she was really warm. I took her temp and it was 101 degrees. I attempted some Grape Tylenol thinking she might like a different flavor, but no. I gave her a cool bath and her fever was broke. I couldn't put her down all day. She'd fall asleep in my arms and when I barely started to lay her in her crib, she freaked. Her dad tried to help, but she wanted mama. Today she was back to herself again. What an adventure!!! Can't wait for the 6 monthers!

Valentine's Day

Sydney's First Valentine's Day!

Sydney loves to sit in her bouncer seat and watch mama cook. Within fives minutes, she was out.

We stayed in for dinner. It is so much easier than fighting the crowds. I made stuffed salmon steaks, Garden Stuffed Baked Potatoes, Shrimp, Deviled Eggs, Crab Won Tons, Cheesecake and Sparkling Cider.

Sydney and I opened our homemade cards from Jason. And yes, I got a little teary!

Andrea's Baptism

Sydney and cousin Sabria

All the grandkids- Caitlyn, Sabria, Tylerman and Sydney

Andrea and Aaron

Last night we had the opportunity to witness Jason's Brother's wife baptism. It was an amazing experience. We are are so pleased and proud of Andrea's decision to start the path back home to our Heavenly Father. It is because of Adam and Eve's Fall that we are able to be here today. I'm so grateful that the Lord loves us so much that he wants us to come to earth and learn through our earthly experiences. Even though times get tough and we make mistakes, I'm so grateful that Jesus Christ atoned for us. It is because of Him and through Him that we are able to repent and become more Christlike.

Sleeping Beauty

This morning I was changing the bedding in the crib. Sydney was getting fussy. I kept telling her in a minute. The she got really quiet. Guess she couldn't wait...

Playing Finally!!!

Sydney took the rattle from me today and didn't freak out when she put it up to her mouth. She's finally into playing with a toy besides her fingers. Our daughter is growing up so fast!

Look how happy she is!
