McD's
I've been slacking at blogging lately. Sorry. Sydney turned one last Thursday. We took her to McD's for lunch. She loved it! She got spoiled and had some Sprite. This last year has flown by! I can't believe our baby girl is one!!! Her newest trick is laying in the tub on her tummy, splashing and kicking. The last week she has decided that throwing her toys and washcloth out of the tub is fun; for her, not mama! She is quite the active and espressive girl. She thinks "EEEE" means everything. When she wants something, she points at it and says E! She still can't get the "L" sound on the word ball. Sometimes she tries to say football, which comes out "bootbaaaa". She does say bye bye and night night clearly. She knows what they mean too. When I say bye bye, she knows to get her shoes on. When Jason goes to bed at night, she tells him night, night. She's so cute! It will be nice when she can talk a little more. We are still working on sleeping through the night. She did good for a while, but now she is back to waking up once a night. I try to let her cry it out, but that doesn't work. She is one determined little girl! After an hour, I end up giving in. I am grateful for the times she does make it through. She is still taking two naps a day. She is starting to go back to be a daddy's little girl. She is doing great walking. She runs into everything though. I think she lost her eyesight when she learned how to walk. She just gets so excited. We have been walking the last few weeks with a few moms and their toddlers. She has enjoyed that. I wish it would warm up a litle bit more in the morning so we could go more. Today I did some canning and she was able to interact with a two year old and two one year olds. That was something. None of them understand sharing. It was good for her though. She is mama's little helper. She wants to be in the middle of everything I'm doing. I guess I started that when I use to have her on the counter in her bouncer and now she is always sitting up there. We go to the doctor next week for a check up. All in all, she's a great kid and an amazing blessing in our lives.
