Birthday spankings from Grandpa...

Jason learned how out of shape he really is!

We went down to Nephi last weekend. It was a lot of fun. We went to church with Jason's Grandma. That made her day. We played at Jason's parents' house until Tylerman's birthday BBQ. It was the first time I got to play since Sydney has been born. It was nice. We played frisbee and basketball. Boy am I bad at basketball... In the afternoon we went to Pat and Julie's for the BBQ.

Turn your head to the left. We are still learning or digital camrea. Apparently you can't rotate a video...This is Sydney's first time on the trampoline and she loved it!

7 Months Old

Sydney turned 7 months old on Friday. She is 17 lbs. and 26 1/4 inches long. She is growing so fast!!! She is eating all the 1st foods, except bananas. We are going to truy those out again tomorrow. She is still working on crawling and sitting from the stomach position. She only crawled the one day...

I had to post this picture. She's so cute when she whines. She doesn' t really cry... It's cute.

Crawling

Sydney crawled last night!!! I was filling her bath. I walked back in her room to get her and she crawled, only a few arms, but it was amazing! She only started the rocking thing a week ago today. I've been trying to video her crawling, but of course she won't do it now.
Today she is more focused on trying to go from her stomach to sitting up.

Bath

Tonight Sydney let us know that it's time for the big girl bathtub. She kept climbing up the back and rocking on her knees!

Spinach

I cooked and pureed some spinach for Sydney today. She gave a sour look the first two bites, but then gobbled it down. She loves vegetables! I'm having a difficult time getting her to eat fruit. She wouldn't eat her cereal Sunday morning. I tried some applesauce. She hated it. I tried bananas yesterday. She ate some, but didn't care for them. It also got her a little constipated. We are just taking it one day at a time. I've been giving her water in a regular cup. She has been doing good. I tried the Sippy a few minutes ago and she finally can suck the water out. Yah!!!

First Goose Egg

Syney got her first goose egg last night. I set her down on the floor and turned around for a few seconds to check on the bibs I was washing in the sink and BOOM! She was sitting and leaned forward to go on her stomach like she always does when she wants something and her head met the corner of the wall. It was completely my fault. I put her way too close to that wall. She screamed and cried so loud that it woke daddy up. He was so good with her! He was soothing her and putting ice on her head, which she absolutely hated! I just kept crying and calling myself a bad mom. I know, accidents happen. It just feels horrible when your child is hurt.

This is her this morning. The swelling has gone down tons. Know she has the lovely line of the wall on her forehead!
