Sydney Loves Grandpa Parkin!

Jason's dad came up Saturday to help Jason change out our chandelier. Everytime we asked Sydney if she wanted to see Grandpa this weekend, she got so excited! As you can see, she loves him!

Green Beans

I fed Sydney some green beans for lunch today. It's her first vegetable. She ate good. She did have some sour looks, but she kept eating.

6 Months Old

Sydney turned six months old last Wednesday. I took her for her well baby check and immunizations yesterday. She is 26" long (75%tile), 16 lbs. 10 oz. (65%tile) and her head is 18" (100%tile). She woke up with a 100.4 degree fever this morning, but it's normal. She just been clingy and whiny today. Shots are the worst part of being a mom. One minute she is happy on my lap and then poke out of nowhere. I have to say, Sydney sure has some lungs! She is trying hard to get up on her knees. She can almost do it!

Last night I was talking with my mom on the phone and Sydney rolled over from her stomach to her back. Then she rolled all over the floor for 15 minutes, completely entertained! And today she kept putting her bum in the air and was on her tippy toes. A few times she got up on one knee. Our baby is growing up too fast! Pretty soon she'll be crawling! Then we'll have our hands full!

First Feeding

Sydney turned 6 months old today and had her first taste of rice cereal. She ate really good.

Temple

Jason and I were able to go to the temple yesterday. We did initiatory for some family names from me; including my dad. We had the youth in our ward do the baptisms for us last week.

Favorite Toys

I found this a few houses up at a garage sale. It has definately paid for itself. She loves that she can make it light up and make music.

She loves making music! She loves sitting in the big girl chair with dad and slapping the counter! She's so fun!

Sitting Up

Sydney has been doing really well sitting up by herself. This is a picture from the 6th, when she did it without help. She's a pro now.

Growing up too fast...

We brought the high chair up Friday. We've been having Sydney sit in it and play during meals so she can get use to it. Only 16 more days and she gets rice cereal. Yah!

Jason was messing around with her the other day reminding me that it won't be long before she pulls herself up. I can wait! She has been doing really good at sitting up. She can catch herself every way from falling except backwards. She still can't understand that.

Sydney loves her baths. She discovered toys the other day and Loves to play!
