Christmas was awesome. Jason and I woke up around 6:45. Jason wanted to wake the kids up, but I told him to let them sleep in. Within five minutes Sydney was in our room asking if Santa came when we were sleeping. IT was so fun with the kids. Sydney is actually understanding it and Kimberly loved the wrappings and crawling around and playing with everything.Sydney loved opening her stocking. I think that might have been her favorite part. Her favorite saying of the day was, "That's what I always wanted".
After Sydney got up, I woke Kimberly out of a dead sleep. She got tired pretty fast. Her and I had a rough night sleeping with our colds. Last year Sydney was sick and this year K and I were. Welcome to being a parent!
When I opened the slippers, Sydney said, "mommy you only got one slipper." I was shocked that I got them. I didn't think I would since they were at Costco and Jason doesn't have a card, but he worked his magic.
The one thing Sydney asked Santa for, a Dr. Kit. She loves giving check ups. Now I don't have to get prodded and pinched with tweezers. No more blood pressure with Jason's charger from his electric razor!
Sydney's probably a little small for her lite brites, but she loved it! She had a hard time putting in the pegs that were super close to each other. Here's another toy for Kimberly to choke on. One gets old enough for the 3 and up toys and I still have one younger to choke on everything! Yeah me!
This cracks me up. All these toys are Kimberly's, but we've had to keep getting them back from Sydney! Maybe Santa gave the wrong toys to the wrong kids!
