We celebrated the 4th of July on Saturday and Monday. We had dinner with some friends and watched them blow up their fireworks. Then on Monday, Jason ran a 10k and we went to the parade. Oh yah, Sydney also was sick on Friday night with the fun of having it come out both ends. Kids love to get sick on the holidays, don't they?!

The fireworks were "too loud"! Sydney only enjoyed them indoors, looking out the window.
Before the race, which started at 7am...
So cute! It was kinda cold that morning till the sun came up.
Sydney loved playing at the playground while daddy ran big.
In a rush to the starting line, Jason accidentally stepped on the one mile mat. So his time was all messed up. From the pics I took, we gather he got around 50 minutes.
We are so proud of Jason!
The "too loud" pictures never get old! Sydney loved all of the parade except the sirens at the beginning.
