We have been busy the last little while remodeling our basement. Jason painted out "red room" cream. It's a amazing how much bigger it looks now. Then we worked on the family room together. We thought the striped wallpaper and rustic boards were great until we lived in the darkness of it. I had the fun job of pulling off wallpaper. I actually don't mind it. It kinda relaxes me, as sick as that sounds! He pulled off boards. Then we primed and painted together. We haven't got the room put back together yet, but here's a peek...
Sydney was involved in everything. She just didn't understand why she couldn't scrape the walls after they were painted.
The bear helping daddy...
Jason had fun pulling off the boards. There was a dark green, almost black paint underneath them. So we primed those walls gray.
This was the worst part of the project, pulling off the wallpare in a space I didn't fit in.
Jason priming the red room.
Our food storage area after. I need to treat the cabinets before I move things back.
