Another Ouwee for Kimberly

I was taking a bath this morning, Sydney was playing in the bathroom and Kimberly was just outside the open bathroom door playing on the carpet. Sydney and i looked away for like 2 seconds and Kimberly lost her balance forward and caught the edge of the door frame. Sydney went over and gave her hug and told her she would be okay. So cute! Then I kinda forget about it till an hour or so later when I was nursing. I iced it and the swelling went down. Kimberly is such a tough girl!

The pictures don't do justice. It looked a lot worse in person! It amazes me how different motherhood is the second time around. I would have probably been upset when I only had Sydney, but I've gotten more relaxed about things. My husband might disagree a little, but I think I have.

All I have to say is that Kimberly tolerates a lot from her big sister. When they are in the same room, Kimberly holds onto to her smile until Sydney looks at her. Then she follows it up with a big old laugh! It's so cute!

Miss Sydney Diva

I painted Sydney's nails for the first time today. She thought that was pretty special. I was surprised how tough it was to paint such small toenails! She didn't want her fingernails done because mommy only had her toenails painted!

She had a hard time waiting for them to dry. I only had to repaint one.

Ride Em' Horsey

Kimberly loves to bounce up and down. So Jason put her on the rocking horse for the firs time. She loved it! I can't believe she's less than six months old and on the horsey already!

Kimberly Eating Cereal

Kimberly has been trying to grab at our plates the last few weeks. So I decided to feed her some rice cereal a week early. (I prefer to wait till 6 months) She Loved it! I brought some along on our BK trip this morning for breakfast. She wasn't grabbing, but I decided to make some. She was thrilled. I fed her again at dinner and she pigged out! I have these little dipping dishes from some "restaurants" we've eaten at. She ate two dishes that were a little over half full. She was definitely ready for some people food! My baby has gotten big too fast!

Day at the Park

Jason was on vacation this last week. The weather was beautiful today. So we took the girls to the park!

This is one of my favorites of little Miss Kimberly!

Jason went up these. So Sydney wanted to do it. She took one step up them and got down. She said she couldn't do it.
